Spain<\/p>\n<p>Title: DEVELOPMENT AND ANALYSIS OF A BENCHMARK TO ANALYSE PARTICLE MIGRATION AND DEPOSITION WITH IMPLICATIONS IN BLOOD FLOWS.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the Thesis is the design, development and analysis of an experimental benchmark to visualize and measure physical processes occurring in particulate flows in microchannels with particles of different sizes.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly the focus is oriented towards particle migration, particle deposition and wall-adhesion and other processes relevant to blood flows. Numerical simulations are also planned to complement and highlight different aspects of the measurements.<\/p>\n<p>The host group has the necessary experimental and computational equipment and techniques to carry out the research.
