The Nonlinear Communications and Signal Processing (NoCoSP, http://www.uah.es/gi/NoCoSP) research group is looking for candidates to apply for a FPU grant in the upcoming Fellowships call from the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. Information about the previous call can be found in https://sede.educacion.gob.es/catalogo-tramites/profesores/formacion/universitarios/fpu.html. Conditions and requisites are expected to be the same.

The research topic will be focused on a new kind of optical-based communication technology for massive data transfer in small cells, called LiFi (related info can be found in http://purelifi.com/), which is expected to boost the transition to 5G mobile communications technologies and beyond.

Interested candidates should comply with the pre-requisites of the call, namely
a) Students enrolled in post-graduate studies during the present academic period 2014-15, OR
b) Students that could join a doctoral program at the end of the present academic period 2014-15.
